Types of Powers
There are many countries in the Napoleonic world. Some are colonial powers such as France, Britain and Spain, and some are land powers such as Russia, Prussia and Austria. And so in this game, the nations are differentiated accordingly into three types: Colonial Power, Land Power, Minor Power. It is important to understand the types as they bring different powers and are able to do different things. The differences between these are as follows:
Colonial Power
Colonial powers can invade anywhere that they can reach by sea, or obviously by land via their own territory. In order to become a colonial power - and therefore able to colonise - you need to have a a navy of size 5 or more.
Land Power
Land powers cannot 'colonise' far away lands as it were. Instead they can only conquer lands that are adjacent to their own lands. However, these invasions have no primary cost and if a nation has under half your wealth, you can invade without any declaration of war. To become a land power, you need to own three or more provinces.
Minor Power
Minor Powers are simply powers that have yet to evolve into greater powers. When they reach higher status, they can choose one of the two to become. However, only countries with naval access can become colonial powers. Countries are minor powers by default unless they fulfil the criteria to become either a colonial or a land power.
Tribal Factions
[/b][/u][/center]Tribes and NPCs (that's non-played countries) appear on many continents, namely: Africa, Asia and Oceania. An example of one of these is the Indian States in Asia. They do not fight as a single entity, instead they fight separately per battle. For the most part they will be primitively equipped and cannot be played by members due to their primitive status and lack of organisation.
Country Profiles
