Indian Empire? Not meant nastily, but an interesting parallel nevertheless.

Better get your skates on then.
Mind, I was on five continents too. How many were you on Keiran? Did you ever get Namibia in the end?

I started off as one of the most powerful and slowly fell behind everyone else as I was the the force that give the organization for peace (forgot its name) credibilty.

No. We're talking about CAG v1.
That time when French rule stretched from Paris, to Sakhalin, to Bahrain, to Cayenne, and then back to Bern.
Those were the days. I forgot Antarctica, so yeah, so was I. Good old Terre Adelie.

Well, unlike you and many others, I didn't give up my Empire in the dying weeks of the game. This is a list of territories the Indian Empire owned at some point throughout the game (most of them I owned at the end) listed by continent. I'm not entirely convinced if it's complete or not. Africa- Angola
- Cameroon
- Côte d'Ivoire
- The Gambia
- Guinea
- Guinea-Bissau
- Kenya
- Liberia
- Libya
- Réunion
- Somalia
- South Africa
- Sudan
- Tanzania
- Zimbabwe
Asia- India
- Afghanistan
- Bangladesh
- Bhutan
- Hong Kong
- Kyrgyzsatan
- The Maldives
- Nepal
- Pakistan
- Socotra
- Sri Lanka
- Tajikistan
- Turkmenistan
- Uzbekistan
Europe- The Balearic Islands
- Bulgaria
- The Czech Republic
- Hungary
- Slovakia
- Slovenia
- Thrace
Oceania- French Polynesia
- New Zealand
- Papua New Guinea
North AmericaSouth America- Bolivia
- Brazil
- Chile
- Ecuador
- Peru
- Uruguay

Tom I never used any Nukes, however I did sell Nukes to Annie. He did use them to destroy the whole world and only by me cancelling all links with him was I able to get away from sanctions.

And the reason why Mith hates me to this day: I blew up his precious Taj Mahal, and got away with it! Only because biased staff allowed it (and should never have happened due to the militarised nature of the India I created), and you had "allies" who were only using you to get at me. Seeing the USA as France's pawn... how times have changed! Perhaps another parallel which could be drawn?

Well you see some of us wanted to maintain a degree of realism in the game and so tried to stop invasions, we failed miserably and ended up with a ridiculously unrealistic situation. I also found it amusing that Tom moved to China when I became inactive and then realised that I had no territories other than China and due to a treaty signed was unable to go to war and he moved to be more powerful.

I'm sure I didn't dream that. How can you think that was Grok? That was me! I launched five nukes. One at New York, one at London, one at Tokyo (because Shaunypoo was involved) and two at Beijing because Grok backstabbed me

I could crush you like a cockroach beneath my shoe in this game - I have nothing to be paranoid of. And my comments make no reference to who you may or may not have discussed it with: there were biased staff who allowed a frankly ridiculous scenario, and you did have "allies" who were willing to defend you. It says something about your ability as a player when the best you can do is set off a bomb by an old building.

DROC guy was never my bitch and I had NOTHING to do with the Taj Mahal Bombings. That's just insulting. The fact that Narnia inspired my rulership of France still scares me. And yes, sorry Annie. I'd like to see a return of CoAG. That'd be interesting. Everyone starting from square one etc.

Post by Sultan Annatar I on May 5, 2008 20:51:04 GMT 1
Colonial Affairs Gaming = CoAG.
Basically a giant map of several continents. Everyone makes up a country; makes up all the necessaries, type of government, religion etc... The mods put the country on the map. People invade each other etc...
There was only one problem with the CoAG. There weren't any 'base' stats. So if you invaded an NPC, you got no benefits apart from extra land. However, invade another country and you get money, military etc.
All I can say is, for the future, CoAG is being thought of.
