The Laotian cannon fire relentlessly upon the Siamese troops on the other side of the river, realising they are a match for the invaders. They have also destroyed all bridges across the Mekong, and a Governmental declaration has made it clear any Laotian found to collaborate with the Siamese shall receive the death penalty without question on charges of treason.
Your generals are pointing out that seemingly the only way to pacify the enemy cannon would be to destroy them somehow, and currently you are matched at 60:60.
