After spending time in Ottoman Empire, the New Sultan is keen to modernize the army of Oman to counter the threat of western imperialism. After seeing the effects that drought can have on the people of a nation, this problem is especially a problem for ones of a desert nation like that of Oman The Sultan is keen to see improvements made in the water supply such as dams, wells and aqua ducts and other water supply systems.
